The fact that the results are posted shows me they are actually doing a dyno pull and that it does make HP. Now I know these results are in a controlled environment and so on.

Very few if any show you the dyno results. One of the pictures of the bolts you're supposed to undo is even flipped the incorrect way, and doesn't show which of the two bolts right next to each other you're supposed to remove for the bracket. Can't emphasize enough the horrible directions -Fire that person. Maybe throw a couple plastic bends in there? It isn't even cut flush at the end, c'mon guys. The crank exhaust hose probably could've been better executed than some cheap standard hose tubing that costs maybe $2 at autozone. They don't tell you you need some sensor-safe lube/grease until you've already got the thing out (and you don't even really "need" it, it's just a suggestion).

I guess it's beyond a bunch of engineers to make a twisty female bit like the original (which ACTUALLY means "it would be harder and more expensive to manufacture it the right way, so Flowmaster took the easy way out by drilling a hole and giving you a rubber grommet to figure it out yourself and break your sensor"). Throttle response is good, engine noise is heavenly, would've given it 5 stars if the funking MAF/temp sensor weren't literally hitler. I haven't been able to check my highway MPG yet, but if it's anything like the last dozen vehicles I've done this to, you'll get a nice little bump.

I could easily make a video of how to properly do it if Flowmaster (or anyone) is interested in paying me to.Īnyway, I already have the Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust (which makes your hemi sound deep and throaty, with more horsies and better MPG in the first place -the way god intended) on my 2016 RAM, now with this intake holy cripes when you do even a moderate pull (around 3k RPM+) you get your hemi to go super saiyan 3 (IF you know what i mean). Use a little bit of intuition and common sense when you put this together, and do NOT go directly by the friggin directions because they are not great. it's like they had a contest to see who was the worst at writing directions. Made in USA.įirst of all, the instructions are garbage written by probably the least capable person.

Delta Force Cold Air Intakes are NOT Legal for Use or for Sale in the State of California. For maximum performance and that iconic Flowmaster exhaust tone, we highly recommend pairing your new Delta Force Cold Air Intake with a Flowmaster exhaust system. Other features include a large diameter 8-layer high-flow conical shaped and serviceable air filter, a custom-fit black powder-coated air dam with attachment brackets to securely mount the system in place and soft bumpers to eliminate any metal to metal contact under the hood. The Delta Force system contains an ultra-trick looking custom molded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) high-flow intake tube which helps dissipate heat quicker than aluminum intake tubes resulting in a cooler intake charge, black anodized aluminum fittings, high quality reinforced silicone couplers and all stainless steel hardware. Take the performance of your vehicle to the next level with the addition of Flowmaster's new Delta Force Cold Air Intake system for 2009-20 Trucks with 5.7L Hemi engines.
